paul@cpedv.org | Paul Castro comes to the Partnership with over 30 years of leadership experience at Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles (JFS). Serving for 18 years as its President and CEO, he was the chief spokesperson and advocate for the multi-service agency serving over 100,000 individuals and families and overseeing a $35 million annual budget.

Capacity Building Program Manager

michell@cpedv.org | Michell has been in social services for 25 years. After attaining her B.A. in Sociology from the University of California at Berkeley in 1991, she began working with underrepresented populations in the Bay Area.Upon graduation from U.C. Berkeley, Michell was voted the recipient of the Louise Patterson African American Female Graduate of the Year for her social services work on campus and in the Bay Area community.

She received her Masters in Public Health from Boston University and has spent the years since learning about non-profit administration and leadership while working on issues ranging from HIV prevention, nutrition, social justice and food access.

Capacity Building Program Coordinator

cibonay@cpedv.org | Cibonay Jimenez (formerly Cordova) has over 20 years of professional experience in the Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Sex Trafficking, Mental Health, Social Services, Health Care, and Substance Abuse fields. Cibonay’s passion for this work derives from her rich history and experience as a DV/SA survivor and Native (Cazan Guamares/Yaqui)/Chicana woman.

neha@cpedv.org | Neha recently graduated from Willamette University with a B.A. in English literature with an emphasis in Critical Race and Subaltern studies. She has spent the last four years advocating for women’s and immigrants’ rights. and brings her identity as a first-generation woman of color to all her work. She is devoted to enacting progressive change in an interdisciplinary and culturally-aware manner.

Jacquie has managed programs, provided domestic violence, sexual assault and anti-oppression trainings at local, statewide and national levels.

Communications Manager

jessica@cpedv.org | Jessica Merrill is the Communications Manager at the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence (the Partnership). Her goal is to create a rich, engaging dialogue across California to increase knowledge of domestic violence as a public health crisis–and to promote comprehensive solutions that everyone can participate in. By providing communications tools to the Partnership’s member programs and all Californians, she works to shift social norms that contribute to domestic violence through social and traditional media advocacy.

Krista Niemczyk, MPP
Public Policy Manager

krista@cpedv.org | Krista Niemczyk is the Public Policy Manager for the Partnership where she represents domestic violence programs throughout California at various government agencies, including the California State legislature. Through this advocacy, Krista ensures that the voices of domestic violence programs and survivors are heard and reflected in public policies.

Allison Stelly

allison@cpedv.org | Allison Stelly, CFRE, has been working in fund development since 2010, with an emphasis on social change organizations. Her previous experiences raising funds for nonprofit media and social services coalesce well into her new role for the Partnership, and she is excited to work towards a California free of domestic violence. She is presently pursuing her Master’s of Nonprofit Management through Regis University.

miranda@cpedv.org | Miranda began working in the movement to stop domestic violence and sexual assault fourteen years ago. During this time they have provided services for survivors, worked in collaboratives with county organizations, managed programs and provided domestic violence, sexual assault and LGBTQI inclusion trainings.

Capacity-Building Program Specialist

mercedes@cpedv.org | Mercedes works as a Capacity Building Project Specialist at the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence. She brings to the Partnership a broad and rich international perspective on cultural dynamics and social justice, based on her experience with diverse populations in Mexico and the USA. She has been a community organizer, a manager of Education and Health affairs for refugee populations, and a project designer consultant.

Originally from New York City, she relocated to Sacramento in 2009 to obtain her bachelor’s degree, graduating magna cum laude from California State University, Sacramento.
