• 24-Hour Community Helpline

We offer the only 24-hour/7-days-a-week crisis line in North Lake Tahoe and Truckee

• Mt. Rose Safe House and Transitional Housing

Provides up to 90 days of emergency shelter for women, men, children and pets who are survivors of intimate partner violence.  Transitional housing is also available for qualified individuals.

• Advocacy & Support

Provides crisis intervention, safety planning, case management, violence education, individual counseling, and support groups for both adult and child survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual assault and sexual harassment.

• Prevention & Education

Provides violence prevention education and outreach to schools, organizations, businesses and other community groups, and works toward creating communities where violence is not tolerated.

• Legal Services

Provides assistance with obtaining Temporary Protection/Restraining Orders, court and mediation accompaniment, and family law assistance.

• Children’s Program

A comprehensive program for children who have witnessed intimate partner violence or who are a victim of abuse.  The program offers therapeutic groups and individual counseling with a licensed therapist.
